Books on how to paint in my personal "limited" selection list. Among the many books on the subject, I am trying to select the best books for each sub-category. Of course, this list is continously updating..but always with the idea to keep it short and top of the top!

The Basis of Successful Art : Concept and Composition A wonderful 1988 book full of insights from a professional illustrator. lot's of tips and a reading to open up your eyes. Also good for vector art. |

A wonderful book which explains everything. It goes also combined with ian Roberts DVD to be bought on his website: ianroberts.us |
These books are among the best ones that I have either read or which had some many enthusiastic reviews that I put them in my wish list.>
My shopping list is quite list, but I selected these books on top.
