Making your own stencils can follow a om the easiset way to the professional one, the latter without necesserily buying any expensive material but using a service provider to do the technical part.
Just scissors and papers!
Paper cutting can be used for making stencils as well. And symmetry will help us to cut, well, ...time. (I already mentioned this in my other webpage)

Just like working with paper and scissors but now get more precise and use a different material: using stencils foils and an Xacto X3311 N0. 1 Precision Knife With 5 No. 11 Blades

Stencil foil can be polyesthere, Acetate
, mylar or a self-adhesive Frisket
very well known when airbrushing.
And cutting out can get sophisticated as well, in a real "Scherenschnitt" fashion
Finally, you can use a proper, professional, Electric Stencil Cutterl
to facilitate the task on vinyl or acetate:it's much faster and easier than with an exacto knife!
Choice 1: Buy a Vinyl Cutter
, and use it for friends and clients when airbrushing.It will repay for itself quickly.
Choice 2: Buy a stencil Laser cutter
