Picasso drawings show his skillfullness as a draughtsman ...for those who still need that proof!

When Picasso was 20 years old he had nothing more to learn, technically.

Now and then, I have the impression that his cubist and later paintings have raised the impression that anybody can be a painter by simply showing some "bad" drawings with some random colours.

Nothings is more distant from the truth. Quite the opposite! To be able to draw like he (and others) did, one must be able to draw like an angel. How can you draw with the "eye of the mind", showing simultaneously more than one point of view if you first don't how to to draw perfectly from just one single point of view and from real?

This is what "be painterly" means, in my opinion. Not just mimicking photography but showing "something else", with the "eye of the mind".
