The simple video I made apparently need to be improved as I received many commenst and not everybody is happy with it.
In case you can't manage to select the "stroke path", probably you haven't selected the right option for the ellipse tool. The right option is the middle square with corners AND pen in the top left, see the picture below:
I hope this helps.
A few of the comments that the video received are about how complicated it is to draw such a simple geometrial element with Photoshop. I agree.
The point is, IMHO, that probably photoshop is not a drawing tool but an image editing tool. You can still draw a circle, of course, but it comes with an automatic filling, which can be annoying sometimes.
However, you can always make a circle, a drawing of a circle with the vector tool and, in the end, by using Adobe Illustrator and not Photoshop anymore.
But the video tutorial'scope I made was simply to show how to draw a circle with no fill with photoshop.
In any case, I quite surprised to see how many people saw that video and the interest it has. It means that Adobe should perhaps also do something about our simple "circle" in Photoshop, LOL....
Maybe someone from Adobe will see this (modest) blog of mine...
I will try to add more stuff on this page whenever I can.
